Saguaro National Park West

PART 4 of 4 of a short walk up the Hugh Norris Trail from the west

The last few steps to the first crest, our goal:

Looking back to where one has come from is obligatory:

We are now on that saddle we saw from below, and are looking at the trail as it continues on the flanks of the next crest.  We will follow the trail just a little longer to see what is beyond the hill the trail is now climbing to the right:

  

We will step off the trail for just a little distance to look to the right of this small peak:

 

Distant mountains lie beyond, no surprise, and now we turn back:

 

There is a large mine visible on the mountain range that is the other border to this valley:

I tried not to take any more photos on the way down, but failed in these two instances:
