4. The Windows Area

The Windows area is closer to the park entrance and higher, so we thought it would be a good place to catch the sunset, and it was:



But we need not say good night just yet, there was excellent twilight for a good 20 minutes or so, just enough time to see the Cove of Caves on the way to the Windows arch area:

The first arch we walked toward in the Windows area was Turret Arch:


Finally we approach the Windows Arch, the one on the left is easiest to climb into, so we do, and take pictures looking both up, and out in several directions:





Now it is seriously dark, and Balanced Rock near the entry to the park is almost invisible:
